What to Expect:

Welcome to Unravel Therapeutics! We’re a collaborative team of Registered Massage Therapists who run our own personal practices/businesses under the umbrella of Unravel Therapeutics Registered Massage Therapy. As such, we individually take pride and great care to focus on all levels of the patient-centered experience, not just in the treatment room, but also, from your initial booking, insurance billing and payments. 

Here’s what you can expect from our booking process:

  • A Safe and Serene Space: Our cozy, two-room clinic is designed for relaxation and peace, and intentionally curated to feel intimate, beautiful, and free from distraction. To maintain this, we lock the main clinic door while treatments are in session, to avoid walk-ins or other unnecessary interruptions. The door will be unlocked 5 minutes prior to your appointment time to respect this environment.

  • Personalized Attention: Since we operate without a receptionist, we focus on intimate, patient-centered care—from your treatment to your booking experience.

  • Easy Online Booking: To check availability and book your appointment, please visit our online booking platform (https://unravel-therapeutics.janeapp.com/), which shows real-time availability for all of our RMTs. You’ll need to create an account, which helps streamline the process.

Waitlist: If you can’t find the appointment time you’re looking for, please use the waitlist feature at the bottom of our availability calendar. This way, you’ll be the first to know about any cancellations. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request!

  • Secure Payment Information: When booking, you’ll be asked to provide a credit card number to comply with our 24-hour cancellation policy. Rest assured, your card will only be charged with your consent.

Payment options for appointments include cash, debit, email money transfer, or credit card. All prices include GST.

  • Essential Information Needed: The online system will ask for some relevant personal information, which helps us provide you with the best care possible.

  • Appointment Confirmation: Once you book your appointment, you’ll receive a confirmation email. About 24 hours before your session, you’ll receive two additional emails:

    • Mandatory Intake Form: This form collects your health history and insurance billing information. Please fill it out completely to ensure we are prepared for your appointment, and can focus on your treatment.

    • Optional Pre-Massage Questionnaire: This is your chance to share how you’re feeling and your preferences for the session. Let us know about things like mask-wearing, music choices, or whether you prefer conversation or quiet time. We want to respect your needs and create a comfortable environment for you.

  • If you need to reach your RMT or cancel your appointment after the 24-hour cancellation period, please email them directly. Failing to inform your RMT within a reasonable timeframe, especially if you’re unwell, doesn’t allow enough time to fill the slot. As a result, your missed appointment will be marked as a no-show, and a fee will apply.

  • Important Clinic Update: Synthetic Scent-Free Policy

    At Unravel Therapeutics, we’re dedicated to creating a relaxing, comfortable, and healthy environment for everyone. To maintain this, we kindly ask that clients refrain from wearing perfumes, colognes, or any strong scents (including cigarette and marijuana smoke) prior to their appointments. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us create a scent-free space that promotes well-being for all.
